AEG 2P400-170H is a Thyro-P power controller designed for 400 V lines and load currents up to 170 A (about 118 kVA). It is used for precise power control of resistive heating, furnaces, glass and plastics processing and transformer primaries.

AEG Thyro power controller: a digital thyristor (SCR) power controller for precise control of electrical heating and other resistive and transformer loads. Single-, two- and three-phase versions, integrated semiconductor fuse, operating modes such as full-wave switching (TAKT) and phase-angle firing (VAR) depending on the model, and set point input by analog signal (0-20 mA / 0-10 V), digital input or optional fieldbus module.
